We’ve never been more proud of our city. The resilience of our fellow citizens in the wake of the marathon bombings has shone brightly in the last few days and the responses to this disaster have been inspiring and reassuring.

“They’ve messed with the wrong city.” This is a city of innovation, of the best of the best. From all of us at UbiCare, our heartfelt thanks to the talented physicians, courageous first responders, and kind citizens who aided the victims. Your efforts are incomparable and we’re proud to call the same city our home.

Many have also asked us how they can help. Here are the resources we’ve found:

  • Boston Strong Tees- All proceeds will go to the The One Fund charity, set up by Governor Deval Patrick and Mayor Thomas Menino.
  • While the Red Cross has reported that they have a sufficient blood supply, they have recommended planning blood drives/scheduling an appointment for the coming months to replenish the supply.
  • Donate to the Salvation Army- They will be providing crisis counseling and disaster support

P.S. We’re happy to report that all members of the UbiCrew are safe and sound.  While our hearts are heavy, we feel hopeful.
